"David Byess Pot Calls"

Let me begin by thanking Scotty for introducing me to call making and for including me as one of the "Strut-N" family.

At Strut-N Custom Calls we strive to hand craft calls that look great and "talk turkey". After all, "if a call doesn't sound good, it is nothing more than a nice paper weight".

Wood for our pot calls is selected both for its natural beauty and for density (relative to its intended use). We don't skimp on our strikers. Wood is selected and combined for the best sound.

We pay a great deal of attention to the fit and finish of each component of each pot call and striker we make.

The sound boards on my pot calls are hand painted, using leaves from trees and shrubs as a pattern. The patterns on the backs of my glass and crystal calls are laser engraved.

The wooden sound boards of the crystal calls are also laser engraved. In the future we will feature "original art" on our calls.

Photos and other special effects may also be used to enhance the sound boards of pot calls with a glass striker surface.

If a customer wants something specific, we will do our best to craft exactly what is expected. Please understand that special orders require a longer lead time.

Customer satisfaction is paramount, if a customer is not satisfied with a purchase, we will make a replacement or refund the purchase price.

In conclusion: One of the most satisfying hunting experiences was the first time a turkey answered one of my calls. This is an experience that
